Texmaker is an open-source, cross-platform, GUI-based LaTex editor written in C++ and Qt framework. It provides useful editing features such as spell checker, auto-completion, unicode support, GUI-based table wizard, document folding/unfolding, keyboard shortcuts, and other GUI menus for adjusting layout, managing bibliography and typing math symbols. Texmaker comes with a build-in PDF viewer, allowing users to move to the position of the PDF file that matches the cursor location of the LaTex source. Texmaker’s functionality can be extended via user-defined scripts and macros.
