Nginx

Nginx is an open-source web server, designed focused on high performance, scalability and low memory footprint under high workloads. Nginx serves static and dynamic web content based on a single-threaded event-driven fashion, as opposed to multi-threaded or multi-process driven fashion like Apache HTTP server. The functionality of Nginx can be extended via Nginx modules which need to be enabled at compile time. It can work as a load balancer, reverse proxy, or proxy for mail protocols such as SMTP, IMAP and POP3 protocols.
