Clementine is an open source audio player and music library software. Initially a fork of Amarok, Clementine is re-built on top of Qt4 and GStreamer frameworks. Clementine allows one to play locally stored music files and audio CDs, as well as stream Internet radio from commercial networks such as Spotify,,, Grooveshark, etc. Transcoding feature is also available, allowing one to encode music songs into MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC or AAC formats. With cloud storage integration built-in, one can upload and search music files stored in Dropbox, Google Drive, Skydrive, Box and Ubuntu One. Other features include smart playlists, native desktop notification, podcast management, remote control, and more.
