Chromium OS

Chromium OS is an open-source Linux-based operating system, designed to solely run web applications for portability, manageability and security. Chrome OS consists of firmware, windows manager, system software, and web browser. The minimal system software includes Linux kernel and Upstart service management tool. Compared to Google Chrome OS which runs on consumer Chromebook hardware, Chromium OS does not contain special firmware features and proprietary binary packages, and does not auto-update itself.
