Calibre

Calibre is cross-platform, open-source ebook reader software which allows users to import and read e-books. It comes with a built-in library management system that organizes imported e-books with searchable and auto-downloadable metadata (author/title, ISBN). Calibre supports importing and converting between a wide variety of e-book formats including EPUB, AZW, AZW3, LIT, PRC, PDB, MOBI, DOCX, ODT, HTML, PDF and more. Calibre is able to sync e-books across multiple devices via backend cloud storage (free or commercial). Its internal e-book viewer can natively support EPUB, FB2, HTML, LIT, LRF, MOBI, PDB and PRC formats, while other types of e-books are displayed by an external viewer. Its integrated e-book editor allows users to compose and edit an e-book with HTML, stylesheets and images. Other useful e-book editing features include table-of-content generation, edit checkpointing, live preview, spell checker with custom dictionaries, auto-complete, etc. Calibre comes with a built-in web server which allows users to set up a remote Calibre server to access and download their e-book library over the Internet.
